The Large Munsterlander
An uncommon breed of gundog - except in and around Paull : one of the country's foremost Large Munsterlander breeders and show judges used to live here, and some of her dogs still live in the village and surrounding area.

The Singing Snowmen
A bit of seasonal nonsense from somewhere Deep in Darkest Paull. Great fun - do have a look!

The “coat-of-arms” depicted for Paull is not an authentic armorial bearing but the shield devised and used by the manufacturers of the popular “crested china” of the late 19th / early 20th centuries. Heraldic purists could find many faults with its design! It depicts a ship of the period – with both funnel and sails – to show Paull’s maritime connections, and a fortified tower, which is presumably representative of Paull Holme Tower or Paull Point Battery (or both.) The motto “In viribus salus” translates approximately as “strength in salvation.”
